Apple iPhone 4S (64GB). Giffgaff or Contract?
You have two options for buying the Apple iPhone 4S (64GB):
- The first option is to buy the phone upfront without a SIM card. This means paying £699.00 upfront. You'll then be able to take advantage of giffgaff's super-cheap "Goodybag" packages: £10/month will buy you 250 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet. There are no commitment with giffgaff so you are free to change phone or network at any time.
- The second option is to get the Apple iPhone 4S (64GB) on a 24 month contract from Three. You'll get the phone
for the lower cost of £279.00 upfront
but you'll pay £30.00/month for the next 24 months. This buys you 300 minutes, 5000 texts and 250MB data. You must stay with Three for the entire 24 months: it is not possible to cancel your contract early.
Over the 24 months, giffgaff (option 1) works out £60 cheaper than taking out a contract (option 2).
